The Solo Offshore Racing Club (SORC) is a virtual yacht club in that we have no physical premises. What we do have is an enthusiastic group of offshore & inshore yacht racers who love "going solo" on the water, and who also enjoy a lively gathering afterwards. We sail a range of "Class" boats and IRC cruiser/racers. Anybody is welcome to join SORC events so long as your boat meets the relevant safety criteria. Budding Vendee aspirants, Figarists, or just wanting to enjoy the personal challenge with like minded sailors, all are welcome!
