“We’re really excited to welcome back Virgin Business Media to support the team at SORC and make the second edition of this classic race as successful as the first” said Nigel Colley Director of Racing at the Solo Offshore Racing Club. He added “The passion and excitement around sailing in the UK and internationally is at an all time high and this race provides a fantastic opportunity to support the sport at the Corinthian level”

The Virgin Media Business sponsorship, along with our other sponsors, has made possible the provision of the Yellow Brick Race Tracker, a pre-race buffet and the prize-giving dinner.

The soloFASTNET will start on June 2nd 2018 in the Solent.  It has been certified by the Royal Western Yacht Club of England (RWYC) as an official qualifier for their 2020 OSTAR race, and by the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club as an official qualifier for the 2019 AZAB Race.
